Eduardo Wyatt's '69 1300

Eduardo works for the local Department of Justice in Curitiba, Brasil. Curitiba is one of the most attractive cities in Brasil and has a thriving VW scene as I discovered on our visit in 2004.
As you can see from the pictures Eduardo's Lotus White 1969 Brasilian Beetle differs from the European produced  Beetles in that it retains the sloping headlights and other earlier details.

The Brasilian Fusca retained the old 30hp engines of the Oval era and were not replaced with the updated 34hp engine in the early '60s. The 1300 and 1500 engines were added to the 1200 30hp engine in the mid '60s.

It happens all over the world...the annual "Drive you Beetle to Work Day"
