Judson Water Decals
& Badges

This is by no means a complete or definitive selection of Judson windshield decals. Why? because the Judson Research & Mfg. Co made many different varieties in style and colour and most are very rare. The rarity is easy to understand as they are an object once applied that cannot be removed when a Judson Supercharger could be moved from car to car. There were several colour schemes: red black & white, gold & black, gold black & red, red white & blue, silver black & red and several more. They are occasionally found in N.O.S. Judson boxes as they were always part of the original kit.

It's interesting to note at this point that Judson never supplied a metal "Supercharged by Judson" badge to the design depicted on the decals below. They never made one and any you find described as "period" or "original" no matter how old they look, date from no earlier than 1998. Because of the recent arrival on the scene of these 6 inch metal badges...often claiming to be period accessories, we have found it necessary to issue a fully authorised and copyright paid "Supercharged by Judson" Badge. These are 9cm in length of a superior quality and the perfect size for exterior and interior applications. If you would like to view one of these badges please click here.

Because almost all modern plastic reproduction decals are of the red black and white colour scheme most people accept these colours as correct. Yes they are correct but if you see other colour combinations don't dismiss them as forgeries. If you have a Judson water transfer decal and it differs from those below let us know, we'd be interested to see them and add them to this page. Email info@vwjudsonregister.org.uk

Both of the above decals were found in N.O.S. Judson Supercharger boxes.

This is the rear of the red black and white decal above left.

A Judson Badge? No a "Supercharged by Judson" plaque. These were attached to the intake manifold of the models that required their own Judson manifold. These included all the Judson models excluding the VW and RD models.
